Capabilities

Area	What you can do
Profile	Read `tier`, `capabilities`, patients, insurance connections, and health-record counts; update patient information
Insurance and records	Connect multiple insurance sources, connect for a dependent with `patientId`, disconnect a source, and read imported records
Conversations	Start or resume a thread, exchange messages, await replies, and read provider notes
Visit approval	Relay the conversation’s payment-gate summary and give the patient `paymentGate.paymentUrl` to approve a temporary hold
Prescriptions	Read prescription orders and fulfillment status
Care pricing	Estimate prices, check a named provider’s network status, and read public provider evidence
Care jobs	Ask Arlo’s care team to move an external referral, manage an appointment, send records, or dispute a claim or bill after patient approval; the care team can ask the patient for what it needs along the way
Webhooks	Notify an agent runtime about conversation, prescription, and care-job activity

Patient location

Care availability is based on the patient’s current physical location. start_conversation requires an ISO 3166-2 region; when a patient moves, send_message can pass their current region for the next provider request. Check the profile and tool results for current service-region information. Arlo serves patients in the United States. For medical emergencies, call 911 or seek emergency care.

Pricing

Care-pricing tools are read-only and free. The Pricing API also provides anonymous estimates and network checks from insurers’ published rate files and public CMS data.
