# Connect to Claude Web

> Set up Arlo Health as an MCP connector in Claude on the web

## Overview

You can connect Arlo Health directly to [Claude](https://claude.ai) on the web, giving Claude access to the Arlo Health MCP. Once connected, you can ask Claude to help you with healthcare consultations, prescriptions, and more — all within the chat interface.

  You can ask Claude to share relevant past conversation context for you. This way your provider can understand the full situation without having to re-explain yourself.

## Setup

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Claude">
    Go to [claude.ai](https://claude.ai) and click **Customize** in the sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Navigate to Connectors">
    In the panel, click **Connectors**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add a New Connector">
    Click the **+** button and then "add custom connector".
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure the Connector">
    Fill in the following details:

    | Field       | Value                       |
    | ----------- | --------------------------- |
    | **Name**    | `Arlo Health`               |
    | **MCP URL** | `https://mcp.arlohealth.ai` |

    Click **Add** to save the connector.

  <Step title="Authenticate">
    When you first use an Arlo Health tool, Claude will prompt you to authenticate. You'll be redirected to complete the OAuth sign-up/sign-in flow, then returned to your conversation.

## Usage

Once connected, you can interact with Arlo Health naturally in any Claude conversation. When you want to use the MCP tool, you may need to tell Claude to use it explicitly. Example use cases:

* "I've had a sore throat for 3 days, can you help me see a doctor?"
* "Can you summarize this information and send it to Arlo for my provider?"
* "What did the doctor prescribe me, and what's the status of my prescription?"
* "What medications am I on according to my insurance records?"

Claude will automatically use the appropriate Arlo Health tools based on your request.

## What's Available

With the connector enabled, Claude has access to all Arlo Health capabilities:

* **Conversations** — Start and manage health conversations with licensed clinicians
* **Prescriptions** — View prescriptions and their fulfillment status
* **Health Records** — Read your connected insurance and health records
* **Payments** — Pay-per-use payment setup and per-visit confirmation
* **Messaging** — Exchange messages with providers during active visits
